Seeing the New Year in
And when you're seeing the New Year in or doing any other count down you need to keep an eye on the time.

It only makes him want coffee
First thing in the morning I have some water. Ice cold and straight from the tap. When I smoked used to have a cigarette with it, after this I have my first coffee of the day. Don't try to make much sense out of me before that first cup of coffee.

Anti-vaccine or pro-polio?
Another from Carbon dating. This time on the anti-vaxxers, challenging them on if they are anti vaccine or pro-polio. I have no idea why we let these people spread harmful nonsense like pro-polio and pro-caries (anti fluoride) without any comeback. I'd like to see them made personally responsible for any harm they cause.

Telepathic coffee stealing aliens
Another Diesel Sweeties, and another coffee pot runs dry. What can I say, I like Diesel Sweeties and I like coffee.

Driving in Lebanon
The start of March was a bit lean, but does include my first entry from Sareen Akharjalian's ongoing strip Ink on the Side about middle class life in Lebanon. It's funny seeing how so many of her concerns are shared with "the West" while some are manifestly issues of her homeland.
Anyone who's ever used the Auckland Motorway system will appreciate this view of the Lebanese motorway system.

Have you had your 'flu shot?
If he's been there long enough to have ripped clothes and grown a beard that long he won't be up-to-date with the flu shots. Sure the desert island gag is a standard, but I'd not seen this specific treatment before and so it worked for me.
